It is hard to believe that it was 1991,when Melinda made her first decoupage glass plate. Time has flown by and we have loved every minute of this amazing journey. Over the years we have refined the techniques and branched out from plates to include such items as paperweights, wine bottle coasters, tissue box covers, wastepaper baskets, letter boxes, clipboards and picture frames. Every piece is still made by hand in Houston, TX.
If you find yourself on Block Island (a small island off the coast of Rhode Island) in the summer, stop by our booth at the Farmers Market every Wednesday and Saturday morning. The Scarlet Begonia is a charming local shop that carries a selection of our work along with many other great finds.
We hope that you enjoy browsing through our web site and we invite any comments that you have about the work. Please feel free to write, call or email any time.
